Platform Terms of Use
Platform — patient / end-user
1. These terms
These terms govern your use of the ClinicalFlow platform at app.cannexis.org (the “Platform”). By using the Platform you agree to them. They are separate from the cannexis.org website terms. If your clinic or pharmacy has its own terms with you, those apply to your care; these terms apply to your use of the technology.
2. What the Platform is — and who provides your care
The Platform is the secure technology that connects you with your clinic, your prescriber and your pharmacy. It is operated by Cannexis Biopharma Ltd, a technology company. Cannexis is not your clinician, clinic or pharmacy and does not provide medical care. All clinical decisions — including whether to prescribe — are made by appropriately registered professionals at your clinic, not by Cannexis and not by the Platform.
3. No medical advice from the Platform
⚠️ The Platform and Cannexis do not give medical advice. Cannabis-based products for medicinal use are prescription-only medicines prescribed by a registered specialist. If you have a medical concern, contact your clinician. In an emergency, call 999.
4. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date — your safety depends on it;
- Keep your login details secret, use the security features we provide (including two-factor authentication and NHS login where offered), and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse;
- Your account is for you. Do not let anyone else use it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or misuse any information you can see.
6. Communications
We send you service messages (such as appointment, prescription and security notifications) as part of providing the Platform. Marketing messages are only sent if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
7. Availability & changes
We work to keep the Platform available and secure, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, suspend or restrict features for maintenance, security or legal reasons. We will give notice of material changes where we reasonably can.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software and content are owned by or licensed to Cannexis. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use it for your care. Your own data remains yours and is handled as described in the Patient Privacy Notice.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Responsibility for your clinical care rests with your clinic and prescriber, not with Cannexis. Subject to the law, Cannexis's responsibility is limited to providing the technology with reasonable skill and care, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Platform at any time; speak to your clinic about your care and records. We may suspend or end access if these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are seriously or repeatedly breached, or where we must for legal or security reasons. Records we are legally required to keep are retained as described in the Patient Privacy Notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
